Externally Controlled Valves

The operation of externally controlled valves is simple: A neutral control medium such as air, water or nitrogen acts on the piston drive and thus ensures the desired valve position - open or closed. Compared to solenoid valves, valves controlled by external fluid have significantly higher closing forces, can achieve shorter switching times and can be used in hazardous areas thanks to smaller protective measures.

Depending on the environment and the operating fluid, the valve bodies are available in brass and stainless steel. Due to their robust design, externally controlled valves are used in a wide range of applications.
